There were 722 households of which 36.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 44.9% were married couples living together. The average household size was 2.56 and the average family size was 3.23.
The median age in the the city was 38.2 years, 27% of residents were under the age of 18; 8.3% were between the age of 18 and 24; 24.2% were from 25 to 44; 23.2% were from 45 to 64; and 17.3% were 65 years of age of older. The gender makeup of the city was 45.6% males and 54.4% female.
The city has a total area of 1.39 square miles, of which 1.38 square miles is land and 0.01 square miles is water.
